Financial Advisor Marketing Software Pricing, Plan by Plan
Advisor marketing platforms cost $175 to $999 a month plus setup, CRMs $39 to $99 per user, and archiving is quoted on top. What a solo advisor really pays in year one, and how many new households it takes to break even.

Financial advisor marketing software costs $175 to $999 a month for an advisor-specific platform such as AdvisorStream or Snappy Kraken, plus setup fees of up to $2,998. A CRM adds $39 to $99 per user a month, and archiving is quoted on top. A solo advisor typically spends $3,000 to $16,000 in the first year before archiving. The spread is that wide because the category mixes five different products, and the expensive ones mostly sell content and done-for-you service rather than software.
Every price below was read from the vendor's own US pricing page in September 2026. Where a vendor did not publish a price or blocked our request, we say so rather than copy a figure from a listicle.
Financial advisor marketing software pricing at a glance
| Layer | Tools | Monthly price | One-time fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advisor CRM | Wealthbox, Redtail | $39 to $99 per user a month | None published |
| Advisor content and marketing platform | Snappy Kraken, AdvisorStream, FMG Suite, Twenty Over Ten | $175 to $999 a month | $199 to $2,998 on Snappy Kraken |
| General marketing automation | HubSpot Marketing Hub, Act-On | $800 to $3,600 a month | $3,000 to $7,000 on HubSpot |
| Archiving and supervision | Smarsh, Global Relay | Quoted, per user | Varies |
| AI campaign production | AiMarketer | $49 to $499 a month | None |
Most practices already own the first layer and are required to own the fourth. The money decision is the middle: whether you rent a content library, buy a general automation suite, or pay for the campaigns to be produced for your own practice.
How much does Snappy Kraken cost?
Snappy Kraken publishes its prices, which is more than most of this category does. Every plan is quoted per month on an annual term, and every plan has a setup fee.
| Plan | Per month | Setup | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaigns Foundations | $199 | $199 | Basic content library, AI email builder, up to 10k contacts, built-in compliance |
| Campaigns Grow | $299 | $499 | Premium library, lead capture, text messaging, up to 50k contacts |
| Campaigns Freedom360 | $899 | $499 | Done-for-you strategy and implementation, quarterly reviews, up to 100k contacts |
| Foundations bundle (with website) | $298 | $698 | Campaigns Foundations plus a basic advisor website |
| Grow bundle | $449 | $2,998 | Campaigns Grow plus a custom-design website |
| Freedom360 bundle | $999 | $2,998 | Done-for-you campaigns plus the custom website |
Two things change the real bill. First, the setup fee on the Grow and Freedom360 bundles is $2,998, which adds about $250 a month to year one. Second, extra advisor workspaces cost $99 a month on Grow and $699 a month on Freedom360, so a three-advisor practice on done-for-you service pays far more than the headline $999. Compliant text messaging (Convos) is $99 a month on its own, and marketing admin seats are $99 each.
How much does AdvisorStream cost?
AdvisorStream lists two marketing plans: Essentials at $175 a month and Growth at $235 a month. Its website-bundled versions show $225 and $400 a month, and a website on its own is $75 or $215. Enterprise, which adds compliance workflows, firm-level reporting and a named account manager, is quoted. We found no published setup fee.
The difference between the tiers is mostly content. Growth adds licensed articles from major publishers in a weekly newsletter, AI-assisted marketing and a video studio. If a polished weekly newsletter full of recognizable mastheads is what your clients want, AdvisorStream is the cheapest way to get it. The limit is the same as any library: the advisor down the street can send the same articles the same week.
How much does FMG Suite cost?
We cannot tell you from the source. FMG's pricing page blocked our request in September 2026, and we do not repeat the numbers that comparison sites list, because they disagree with each other and several are clearly dated. FMG is a large, established vendor with a big pre-reviewed content library and social scheduling, and it is on most advisors' shortlists. Get a written quote that splits the monthly plan, any setup fee and per-advisor add-ons, then put it in the table above.
Twenty Over Ten, best known for advisor websites and its Lead Pilot marketing product, also shows no price on its public pricing page.
What does a financial advisor CRM cost?
The CRM is usually the cheapest line and the one you cannot skip. Both of the popular independent-advisor CRMs publish per-user prices.
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Redtail Launch | $39 per user (yearly) or $45 (monthly) | Up to 5 users |
| Redtail Growth | $59 per user (yearly) or $65 (monthly) | Unlimited users |
| Wealthbox Basic | $59 per user a month | Contacts, households, tasks, one pipeline |
| Wealthbox Pro | $75 per user a month | Adds workflows, two-way email sync, broadcast email |
| Wealthbox Premier | $99 per user a month | Adds advanced features and an account manager |
Wealthbox Pro and Redtail both include broadcast email. That is where many practices stop: the CRM can send a newsletter, but nobody has written one since March. Sending was never the bottleneck. Writing was.
What general marketing automation costs an advisor
General platforms are built for companies with marketing teams. HubSpot Marketing Hub Professional is $800 a month with three core seats and 2,000 contacts, plus a one-time $3,000 onboarding fee, and Enterprise is $3,600 a month plus $7,000. Act-On Professional is $900 a month at 2,500 active contacts. Both are capable. Neither is built for advisors, so neither ships an advisor content library or an archive, and both assume someone on staff will build the workflows. Our HubSpot onboarding cost breakdown explains what the one-time fee buys and what it does not.
The line nobody budgets: compliance review and archiving
Regulated advisors pay for supervision whether or not they think of it as marketing. Broker-dealer reps need a registered principal to approve retail communications before use under FINRA Rule 2210, and the firm retains them under SEA Rule 17a-4. SEC-registered advisers keep a copy of every advertisement under Rule 204-2. Archiving vendors such as Smarsh and Global Relay quote per user, so get that number before you compare anything else, because it can rival the marketing platform itself.
The hidden cost is time. Every generic template that needs heavy editing, and every draft with a performance claim that bounces back from compliance, costs a review cycle. Firms that track their rule changes with a regulatory change monitoring tool tend to update their banned-word list and disclosure language faster, and that list is exactly what keeps automated drafts clean on the first pass.
Four worked stacks, first-year totals
First-year cost for CRM plus marketing, archiving excluded because it is quoted. Every figure comes from the prices above.
| Practice | Stack | Year one | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo, lean | Redtail Launch yearly ($468) + AdvisorStream Essentials with website ($2,700) | $3,168 | Library content only; you write nothing custom |
| Solo, done for you | Wealthbox Pro ($900) + Snappy Kraken Freedom360 bundle ($11,988 + $2,998 setup) | $15,886 | Strategy and campaigns handled, highest cost |
| Solo, AI agent | Wealthbox Pro ($900) + AdvisorStream website ($900) + AiMarketer Growth yearly ($1,490) | $3,290 | Custom campaigns and ads, you approve each piece |
| Three-advisor firm, HubSpot | Wealthbox Pro x3 ($2,700) + HubSpot Marketing Pro ($9,600 + $3,000 onboarding) | $15,300 | Powerful, but someone has to run it |
Put those totals against revenue per client. A $500,000 household at a 1 percent advisory fee pays $5,000 a year. The lean stack pays for itself with one new household. The done-for-you stack needs a little more than three. That is the right way to judge this spend: not by what the software does, but by how many new households it has to produce to break even.
Where AiMarketer fits
Content libraries give you articles everyone else has. CRMs give you a send button. What most solo advisors and small RIAs are missing is someone to write campaigns for their own practice: the prospect sequence for physicians, the invitation series for a Social Security workshop, the local search ad for "fee-only advisor" in their town.
That is the job AiMarketer does. It plans the month, drafts the emails, posts and ads, removes any banned words you list, appends your disclosure to every piece and launches only after you or your CCO approve, with each version and approval logged. Growth is $149 a month or $1,490 a year, and it works alongside Wealthbox, Redtail and your archive. The full comparison, including what we are not, is on our marketing automation for financial advisors page, and every plan is listed on the pricing page.
Questions advisors ask about marketing software pricing
How much does Snappy Kraken cost?
Snappy Kraken Campaigns costs $199 a month for Foundations, $299 for Grow and $899 for Freedom360, all on an annual term, with setup fees of $199, $499 and $499. Bundles that add a website run $298, $449 and $999 a month, with setup of $698 to $2,998. Extra advisor workspaces cost $99 to $699 a month.
How much does AdvisorStream cost?
AdvisorStream lists marketing plans at $175 a month for Essentials and $235 for Growth. Bundled with a website, the plans show $225 and $400 a month, and a website alone is $75 or $215. Enterprise, with compliance workflows and firm reporting, is quoted. AdvisorStream prices in US dollars and marks some features US only.
How much does FMG Suite cost?
FMG Suite did not return its pricing page to us: the request was blocked. We do not repeat the figures third-party sites list, because they vary and some are years old. Ask FMG for a written quote that separates the monthly plan, any setup fee and the per-advisor add-ons, then compare it line by line.
What is the best marketing software for financial advisors?
There is no single best one, because the category mixes five products. A CRM such as Wealthbox or Redtail holds households. A content platform such as AdvisorStream or Snappy Kraken supplies articles and newsletters. An archive retains everything. An AI agent writes and launches campaigns for your own practice. Buy for the layer that is empty.
How much should a financial advisor spend on marketing software?
Most solo advisors land between $3,000 and $16,000 in the first year for CRM plus marketing, before archiving. Measure it against one new client: a $500,000 household at a 1 percent fee pays $5,000 a year. If the stack brings in one or two such households a year that you would not otherwise have, it has paid for itself.
Is HubSpot worth it for a financial advisor?
For a solo advisor, rarely. Marketing Hub Professional is $800 a month plus a one-time $3,000 onboarding fee, $12,600 in year one, and it needs someone to operate it. For a firm with several advisors and an in-house marketer, it can be worth it, but you still need a separate archive and a compliance review step.
The short version
Advisor platforms cost $175 to $999 a month plus setup, CRMs $39 to $99 per user, and archiving is quoted on top. Decide which layer is actually empty before you buy, count setup fees and extra advisor seats in year one, and judge the whole stack by how many new households it has to win to break even. If the empty layer is the writing itself, an AI agent that drafts and launches on your approval is the cheapest way to fill it.
