AgencyAnalytics Alternatives Compared by Price and Billing Unit
AgencyAnalytics charges $20 per client, DashThis by dashboard, Swydo by data source, Databox by tier plus source. Those are five different bets about your roster, not five prices for the same thing. Verified August 2026 pricing and the worked switch math.

The demo above plans a real campaign in about 30 seconds. Relevant here because it shows the other half of the problem: reporting tools describe the work, they do not do it.
The best AgencyAnalytics alternative depends entirely on which billing unit suits your roster. AgencyAnalytics charges $20 per client per month. DashThis charges by dashboard count, from $44 to $429. Swydo charges by data source, from $69. Databox charges by plan tier plus sources, and has a free version. Looker Studio is free and charges you in maintenance time instead. Those are not five prices for the same thing, they are five different bets about what your agency will look like in two years.
Worth saying plainly at the top: AgencyAnalytics is a good product and per-client pricing is the most honest model in this category. Most agencies who search for an alternative do not actually have a problem with the software. They have a problem with one of three specific things, and only two of them are solved by switching.
Why agencies look for an AgencyAnalytics alternative
The first reason is a roster of small clients. At $20 a client the maths is comfortable when clients pay you $3,000 a month and uncomfortable when they pay $400. An agency with forty local businesses on small retainers is paying $800 a month for reporting alone, before add-ons, and that is a visible line on a thin margin.
The second is the add-ons. The headline is $20, but rank tracking is $41.67 a month per 500 keywords and the AI tracker is $20.83 per 250 credits, both billed annually. Track twenty keywords each for forty clients and you have bought two rank tracker units on top of the per-client fee. Nothing dishonest is happening, but the effective price is not $20 and you should budget the real one.
The third reason is the one switching does not fix: the report is not the bottleneck. If the painful part of your month is writing the commentary and deciding what changes next, a different reporting tool will produce a prettier version of the same problem. That work is analysis, and none of these products do it for you.
The alternatives compared, with prices checked in September 2026
Every figure below is the US dollar price read from the vendor's own pricing page on 15 September 2026. Where monthly and annual billing differ, both are shown.
| Tool | Price, checked 15 Sep 2026 | Billed per | Switch to it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| AgencyAnalytics | $20 per client per month annually, $25 monthly. Add-ons for rank tracking and AI credits. | Client | You are staying. Still the default for a mid-size roster. |
| DashThis | $44 for 3 dashboards, $139 for 10, $279 for 25, $429 for 50, billed annually. Monthly: $54, $164, $324, $499. | Dashboard | Client count is stable, one dashboard each. Beats per-client above about 22 clients. |
| Swydo | $69 a month for the first 10 data sources, then $4.50 each up to 100 and $3 to 500. 10 percent off billed yearly. | Data source | Clients run two or three channels each. Punishing at six. |
| Databox | Free for 1 dashboard, 3 sources, 1 user. Agency plan $79 annually for 4 clients plus $20 per client pack; white label $200 extra. | Base plus client pack | You are in house, or you want a usable free tier. |
| Whatagraph | Max from $812 a month, billed annually only. Prime is quote only. | Source credit | Presentation quality is what clients buy, and budget matches. |
| Looker Studio | Free. | Nothing in cash | More time than money, and someone to own every template. |
Two accuracy notes. Several of these vendors show euro prices to European visitors, so every row here is the dollar price a US visitor is served, never a conversion. And Whatagraph is the only vendor here that publishes just a starting price, which matters when you are trying to budget.
Run the switch on your own numbers, not the headline price
The comparison only becomes real when you price your actual roster against each model. Take an agency with thirty clients averaging three connected accounts each, so ninety data sources in total. Computed from the published rates above, the same agency pays roughly $600 a month on AgencyAnalytics, $429 on the DashThis fifty-dashboard tier, $386 on Swydo, and $799 on the Databox Agency plan once client packs and white label are counted, all on annual billing.
Now change one assumption. Give those clients six connected channels each instead of three, so 180 sources. AgencyAnalytics does not move: still $600, because it never cared about channels. Swydo climbs from $386 to $643 billed annually and becomes the most expensive of the three. That single assumption reverses which tool is cheapest, and it is the assumption most agencies never write down. We set out all the billing models side by side on marketing reporting tools, including the worked arithmetic for each, and agency reporting software pricing costs eleven tools for the same agency at 5, 15 and 40 clients.
The other number people forget is migration. Rebuilding thirty client dashboards, reconnecting every ad account and getting client sign-off on a new template is a week of somebody's life. If the saving is $170 a month, you are working for about six months to break even, and that assumes nothing breaks. Switch for a structural reason, not for a rounding error.
Swydo vs AgencyAnalytics, on the same roster
Swydo is cheaper than AgencyAnalytics when your clients connect few channels, and more expensive once they connect many. AgencyAnalytics bills $20 per client a month on annual terms no matter how many accounts each client links. Swydo bills by data source: $69 a month covers the first 10, then $4.50 for each source up to 100 and $3 each up to 500, with 10 percent off for yearly billing.
On the thirty-client agency above, that means Swydo at about $386 a month against $600 for AgencyAnalytics while clients average three channels, and about $643 against the same $600 once they average six. The break-even sits a little under six connected sources per client. The other difference is what the price includes. AgencyAnalytics puts white label and unlimited staff and client users inside the per-client fee, so adding a client login costs nothing extra. On Swydo the variable to watch is the source count, not the user count. If your clients run two or three channels each, Swydo usually wins on price. If they are adding platforms every quarter, per-client billing is the safer budget.
Where reporting tools stop, and what the alternative actually is
Every tool on that list reads your accounts from the outside. None of them ran the campaign, so none of them can tell you why a number moved. They report what happened, and the "so what do we do about it" section of every client report is still written by a human on a Sunday.
That is the real gap, and it is why some agencies end up choosing a different category rather than a different reporting tool. When the system that plans the campaign, writes the creative, launches it and shifts the budget is the same system producing the report, the report can carry the decision alongside the metric: what changed, when, and the reason. Our AI marketing dashboard works this way, and white-label reports with per-brand approvals sit on the $499 Scale plan, capped at fifteen brands. Above that cap a per-client reporting tool is genuinely the better purchase and we would say so.
Either way, the deck usually still has to be built for the quarterly review, and that step is worth automating too. Turning a finished report into a client-ready presentation is now a job you can hand to software rather than an afternoon in slides.
Which one to pick
Stay on AgencyAnalytics if you have ten to twenty-five clients on real retainers and white label matters. The predictability is worth the premium and switching will cost more than it saves.
Move to DashThis if your client count is stable and above roughly twenty-two, where the fifty-dashboard tier undercuts per-client pricing, and you do not need a second dashboard per client.
Move to Swydo if your clients are single-channel or two-channel. Check the source count first, because that model turns against you fast when clients add platforms.
Move to Databox or Looker Studio if you are in house, or a solo consultant whose clients are buying judgment rather than a branded PDF.
Look at an execution platform if reporting is only painful because the analysis behind it is manual. Agencies weighing that trade will get more from AI marketing for agencies, and anyone comparing the whole stack should start with marketing agency software priced per client, which puts the reporting line next to the other four categories, or with AI marketing software pricing.
Questions people ask
What is the best AgencyAnalytics alternative?
It depends on why you are leaving. For a fixed, small roster DashThis at $44 to $429 a month by dashboard count is usually cheaper. For clients with few connected accounts each, Swydo from $69 a month by data source wins. For in-house teams, Databox has a genuinely usable free tier. For zero budget, Looker Studio is free if you will maintain the templates. There is no single best answer because the tools bill against different units.
How much does AgencyAnalytics cost?
Checked on 15 September 2026: $20 per client per month billed annually, or $25 billed monthly, with no minimum, with unlimited staff and client users and white label included. Rank tracking is an add-on at $41.67 a month per 500 keywords billed annually, and the AI tracker is $20.83 a month per 250 credits. Agencies above 25 clients are pushed to custom enterprise terms.
Is AgencyAnalytics worth it?
For most agencies with ten or more clients, yes. Per-client pricing is the most predictable model in this category, white label is included rather than upsold, and the client-facing portals reduce the number of emails you answer. It becomes poor value in two specific cases: a roster of very small clients where $20 each is a real percentage of the retainer, and agencies who need the add-ons, which can lift the effective price well above the headline.
Is there a free alternative to AgencyAnalytics?
Looker Studio is free and connects to Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console and Sheets natively. Databox has a free tier covering one dashboard, three data sources and one user. Both are real options for a solo consultant or a small in-house team. Neither is realistic for an agency running client reporting at scale, because you become the maintenance team for every template and connector.
Can I automate client reports without a reporting tool?
Partly. Looker Studio can be scheduled to email a PDF, and most ad platforms will send their own scheduled reports. What you lose is cross-channel reconciliation, because each platform claims the same conversion under its own attribution rules and the totals will not add up. That reconciliation is most of what you are paying a reporting tool to do.
What is the difference between AgencyAnalytics and Databox?
AgencyAnalytics is built for agencies reporting to clients and prices per client, with white label as standard. Databox is built mainly for teams tracking their own business and prices its business plans by data sources and users; its Agency plan adds client packs, and white label costs an extra $200 to $250 a month. If you are sending branded reports to people outside your company, AgencyAnalytics fits. If you are watching your own numbers, Databox is cheaper and has a free tier.
